What This Site Is
NobieWalker.com is a nonpartisan civic accountability project created by concerned community members. We compile publicly available data — crime statistics, conviction rates, budget documents, and official records — to give residents a clear picture of how their District Attorney's office is performing.
This is not a campaign site. We do not endorse any candidate. We do not solicit donations. Our sole purpose is to inform the public and demand better results from the office tasked with keeping our community safe.
Why This Site Exists
Crime is trending in the wrong direction. Conviction rates are falling. Cases are being dismissed at alarming rates. The office budget continues to grow while outcomes decline. And our DA appears to be splitting attention between elected duties and an academic career.
Residents deserve to know these facts. When public officials are not meeting the standard, it is the community's right — and responsibility — to demand accountability. That is what this project is about.
What We Stand For
Public Safety
Every resident deserves to feel safe in their community. A DA's office must make public safety its top priority through aggressive, competent prosecution of violent and repeat offenders.
Courtroom Excellence
Cases should be thoroughly prepared, tried competently, and resolved in a way that serves justice. High dismissal rates and sloppy plea deals erode public trust.
Fiscal Responsibility
Taxpayer dollars should produce measurable results. Budget growth without corresponding improvements in public safety outcomes is unacceptable.
Full-Time Leadership
The DA's office demands full-time, undivided attention. The community elected a prosecutor, not a part-time administrator. Outside commitments that compete with official duties are a disservice to the public.
